Winyates and Matchborough

Your Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Worcestershire.

Issued 10 June 2026	We will: -Deal robustly with any persons committing anti-social behaviour, working together with our partners and making use of available legislation. -Ensure Officers are regularly visible in areas of concern & ASB hotspots, such as the Winyates Centre. Issue: Shop Thefts This is a priority for the next 3 months, based on community feedback, crime data and engagements with partners. Issued 10 June 2026	We will: -Deal robustly with shoplifting in the local area, and target repeat offenders so that local businesses can have trust and confidence in their Police service.
