Bromsgrove St Johns

Your Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) is a group of local police officers dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of officers and PCSOs based in your area, supported by additional officers from the wider area.

We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for the area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on reducing crime across Herefordshire, Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin and Worcestershire.

We Will:

Conduct Neighbourhood Matters surveys to identify areas of focus
Ensure visibility in areas of heightened concern
Work collaboratively with partner agencies to tackle the ongoing concern

We did July 2026 -
Gather and act on information passed to police from members of our communities.
Conducted multiple stop and searches of persons and vehicles linked to drug supply.
Seized a large quantity of money from proceeds of drug supply.
Initiated several investigations into the supply of drugs into our local community.
Conducted several operations to disrupt drug supply within our communities.

Pursue firm and targeted action towards individuals and premises of concern for drug supply

We did August 2026:
7 x stop and searches conducted
30 x intelligence reports submitted
Developing intelligence for positive action - searches, arrests and warrants

Issue – Anti Social Behaviour

You said: This is a priority for the next 3 months based on resident feedback, crime data and ongoing local concerns.

We Will:

Take firm, proportionate action against individuals engaging in anti social behaviour, using all relevant legislation to divert offenders and reduce harm
Maintain a strong, visible presence in identified areas of concern to reassure communities and deter offending
Use social media proactively to share key messages, highlight positive outcomes, and promote community confidence

We did July 2026 -
Conduct high visibility patrols in hot spot areas of anti-social behaviour.
Issue several ASB letters to persons causing issues within the community.
Working with partner agencies to tackle nuisance anti-social behaviour and evicting problematic persons within the community.

We did August 2026:
Respond to numerous reports of ASB in the area.
Conducted multiple high visibility patrols of high concern areas.
Continue to work with partner agencies tackling anti-social behaviour.

Issue - Anti Social and misuse of vehicles

We Will:

Carry out regular surveys to identify emerging issues and priority areas
Deliver advice and reassurance through consistent police engagement at key community locations
Maintain a strong, visible presence in areas highlighted as concerns
Plan and deliver targeted road safety operations, including enforcement against anti social driving, e scooter and e bike offences, and speeding.

We did July 2026 -
Numerous traffic offence report issued for moving traffic offences.
Several drivers warned for anti-social use of their vehicle.
Numerous e-scooters seized for being rode in public.
Speed enforcement and surveys conducted on highlighted areas of concern, resulting in multiple drivers reported for speeding offences.

We did August 2026:
Continue to issue traffic offence reports to drivers for traffic offences.
5 x Vehicles seized that should not be on the road/ committing offences.
Several speed enforcement deployments in areas of high concern.
