Halloween is coming!

Halloween is coming!

Halloween is just around the corner!

As witches, wizards, ghosts and ghouls prepare to head out trick-or-treating, we'd like to remind everyone to be "frightfully thoughtful" this Halloween!

Not everyone in our community chooses to celebrate Halloween, and some residents may be elderly, vulnerable, have young children, or simply prefer not to take part. Please be respectful of properties that are not decorated or do not appear to be participating, and remember to treat everyone with courtesy and kindness

If you're heading out trick-or-treating:

Stick to well-lit areas and travel with friends or family.

Respect people's homes and property.

Be mindful of noise levels, particularly later in the evening.

Take your litter home and help keep our community looking its best.

For anyone who may not want to take part in the Halloween festivities, attached is a “NO TRICK OR TREAT” sign that you can print off and display in your windows.

Remember: the only thing that should be haunting our neighbourhood this Halloween is good community spirit!

Have a safe and enjoyable Halloween from your Safer Neighbourhood Team!
