🚓 Safer Neighbourhood Team – Business Visits on Alveley Industrial Estate 🚓

Officers from your Safer Neighbourhood Team have been carrying out business visits on Alveley Industrial Estate, working together to support local employers and staff. PCSO Leek and Rural & Business Crime Officer PC Gough have been on site offering practical crime prevention advice, issuing SmartWater kits, and providing free bike marking for anyone cycling to work.

This work supports national NPCC crime prevention messaging and our local priority to reduce business and rural crime by improving security and deterrence measures across commercial areas.

Ensure all valuable equipment is security marked (such as with SmartWater) and keep an accurate inventory. Clearly visible signage showing that property is marked can act as a strong deterrent to opportunist thieves.

We want our community to feel reassured that local officers are actively engaging with businesses, offering support, and taking proactive steps to prevent crime. Working together helps create a safer, more secure environment for everyone on the estate.
