Local Speed Survey

Dear Resident

PCSO's Amy EVANS & Lynn HARRIS on Dawley Road Arleston between 14:15 & 15:15 hours conducting a speed survey.

50  vehicles were checked with the mean average speed of 26mph with one vehicle at 35mph. We were using our TruCam which will automatically issue a fine for any vehicle doing 35 + mph in a 30mph zone.

The survey is in response to some concerns raised by residents within the area, regarding the perceived speed of some vehicles and in line with the local Policing Charter.

All data is collated and sent to our Roads Safety Team and shared with Parish Councils.

Speed surveys are conducted at various times and days, throughout your local area by the designated Safer Neighbourhood teams in conjunction with Parish Councils
