Polling Stations – Thursday 7th May

On Thursday 7th May, polling stations will be open, and we would like to remind residents that voting should take place in a safe, calm and respectful environment.

When attending a polling station, please remember:

• Treat polling staff, members of the public and officers with respect
• Do not cause disruption, intimidation or disorder
• Follow instructions given by polling station staff
• Aggressive or abusive behaviour may result in police action being taken

Police officers and PCSOs may be present on 7th May to support polling staff and the public, ensuring everyone can exercise their right to vote safely and without fear.

If you experience any concerns or issues at a polling station, please report them to polling staff or a police officer.
