Suspicious male going into Malvern shops

Police have received reports that an unknown male has been going into shops in the Malvern area, posing as a representative for Amazon. They will approach staff and ask if they have an Amazon business account, then ask them to log into their Amazon account before asking the staff to scan a QR code which then opens a website and sharing all their Amazon details.

Please keep an eye out for the male pictured below or for anyone doing a similar thing. We would always recommend that you never scan a QR code unless you are confident it is safe to do so, as QR codes can be manufactured to open a link or website of the creators choice. This could lead to them being able to obtain personal details such as passwords or bank details. It could also allow the creator to upload spyware or viruses to electrical devices.
