Male Riding Quad Bike Issued with Section 59 Warning |

This afternoon a male who was witnessed by PCSO Kev Tudge and PCSO Becky Bullock riding a quad bike is an anti-social manner on Pound Bank Road and surrounding area of Malvern. PC Farmer attended the area moments later with the male being issued with a Section 59 warning. The warning is issued when a vehicle is used in a manner that contravenes sections 3 or 34 of the Road Traffic Act 1988 (careless/inconsiderate driving or off-road driving) and causes alarm, distress, or annoyance. An officer will warn the driver that the vehicle may be seized if the antisocial behaviour continues or is repeated within 12 months.
