School Parking Concerns

Dear Resident, 

With schools back open after the festive break, we would like to remind those dropping off around school times about refraining from parking their vehicles dangerously outside schools or blocking access to residents' driveways. 

Inconsiderate or illegal parking can put pedestrians and other road users in danger. It can also create an obstruction for emergency vehicles. 

Your local Safer Neighbourhood Team will be attending schools during drop off and pick up times and will be working with Telford & Wrekin Council Neighbourhood Enforcement Officers to promote safer parking outside schools and where relevant we will support the enforcement of parking restrictions. 

If you do need to drive your child to school, then please be considerate and ensure you are parking safely and legally. Please consider using car parks nearby to your school if these are available.
