Attempt theft of petrol

Police received a report last night of an attempt theft of fuel on Redstone Lane. At approx 8pm a neighbour alerted a resident that someone had tried to take fuel out of their car and 2x neighbouring cars that were parked on Redstone Lane near to Chequers Close. The lock had been broken on the fuel cap but it is unknown if fuel was taken. Please can residents check their cctv or ring doorbell footage to see if anything has been caught.
