A cannabis cultivation of around 300 plants was recovered by officers attending reports of damage to a property in Kidderminster yesterday evening (Thursday 5 June). Police were called to an address on Lower Mill Street around 10.30pm following a report of a door being smashed and lights on inside the building. Upon officers arriving, they entered the premises and discovered some 200 cannabis plants, plus around 100 which appeared to have been cultivated. No-one was inside the building, and no one was arrested. An investigation has been launched into the grow. A scene guard was in place while National Grid made the property safe, and our Crime Scene Investigation team carried out their enquiries. The plants and cultivated products have been removed and are set to be destroyed. | ||||
