After concerns of speeding being raised through the local parishes, officers on Saturday 19th April conducted speed watches in Holt Heath (40mph limit), Little Witley (40mph limit), Great Witley (30mph limit) and Abberley (30mph limit).

100 cars in each area were monitored, these are then calculated to produce the average speed on that road.

- Holt Heath - 30.89mph
- Little Witley - 34.83mph
- Great Witley - 29.07mph
- Abberley - 27.54mph

Luckily the average speeds in each area were below the speed limit which we are glad to see, however we know this is not always the case.

Take care when driving, as the speed limit is there for a reason whether you think it should be or not
