Staying safe and legal on our roads

Good morning,

Last night, police stopped a vehicle on Droitwich Road, Worcester. The vehicle had no motor insurance. The vehicle was seized and the driver has been reported for the consideration of the question of prosecution for using a motor vehicle on a road with no insurance. This carries a fine of six penalty points and a £300 fine. The driver will also incur the costs of the recovery agent.

Please can I politely remind drivers or car owners to check that their vehicles are road legal and have the correct valid documents.

Also, you can report those drivers who choose to drive illegally online at West Mercia Police website, using the online report form.

Kind regards
