Dear Residents, 

I just want to remind residents that the temporary traffic lights going from church road and Church Green West are there for a reason and are not to be driven through on red lights. 

We have received a few concerns from the local residents and its something I have witnessed myself especially on church road, drivers skipping the lights and coming close to causing an accident. Driver details will be passed on to the relevant teams within West Mercia who will tackle this behavior.

Road safety concerns, in particular speeding, are consistently raised by our local communities. 

If you are concerned about speeding in your area then this can be raised with either your local parish/town council or your local Safer Neighbourhood policing team, we will then be able to look at data collection and offer advice on the most appropriate form of action.
