Halloween

Mischief Fortnight

Halloween is fast approaching and while embraced by some as a time for fun and dressing up it is not for everyone.

We at West Mercia Police recognise this and while making it safe for those who wish to take part also support those who do not.

Enclosed is a sign to place in your windows should you not wish to be visited by Trick or Treaters.

If you are planning to go trick or treating please do so within the law, be respectful of peoples wishes.

Do not visit houses in darkness, ones that are displaying signs  where they do not wish to be called upon or where an elderly or lone person may reside. Visit people that you know and where you will be welcome!

Please be mindful that while some people with perceive Trick or treating to be fun, others may not and it is important if you do participate to do so within the law as other wise any offences will be dealt with.

Please be safe and stay with parents/adults and stick to well lit areas.

Please enjoy this time of year safely and please contact the team for any further info.

Many Thanks
