Ever heard of "Ask for Angela"?  

Ask for Angela is a safety initiative for bars, clubs & licensed premises. If you ever feel uneasy or in an uncomfortable situation, ask for "Angela" at a bar, club or licensed premises. This code-phrase will indicate to staff that you require help and you will receive assistance. 
A trained member of staff will then look to support and assist them. This might be through reuniting them with a friend, getting them to a taxi, or by calling venue security and / or the police. 

Yesterday afternoon (Friday 21st June) we dip sampled a number of premises in Evesham, Pershore & Malvern & we were reassured that the majority of premises checked were aware of this initiative and acted appropriately to assist the person "Asking for Angela".

Those who were not aware of the initiative will receive further training.
