Malvern man Kevin Young 53 years of age of no fixed abode committed numerous thefts in January and February this year and has appeared in court. 

Pickersleigh and Chase Safer Neighbourhood have been involved with dealing with the 8 retail thefts that Young committed, with Young providing a guilty plea.

His guilty plea was taken into consideration by the court.

Young must carry out 320 hours unpaid work within the next 12 months and is ordered to pay £188 in compensation.

PC Slaymaker and PC Olczak state that they along with PCSO Bullock and PCSO Tudge will continue to show a highly visible presence, work closely with retailers and look to deal with offenders promptly.
