Stop search of known drug dealer

A known drug dealer of the Bridgnorth area has been searched on 3 occasions within the past month. The first search which was conducted on 22nd March 2024 on Old Worcester Road was positive after locating what is suspected to be class A drugs in the vehicle the male was travelling in. A drug swipe which indicates if a driver is driving under the influence of drugs was conducted on the same male which was negative.

The second search conducted on 20th April 2024 on Chapel Lane, was negative.

The third search was also conducted on 20th April 2024, but in a different location and officers.  Again, the search of the male and his vehicle were negative, but he did test positive for driving whilst under the influence of drugs.

The male was taken to custody where he has since been released under investigation whilst enquiries are ongoing.

Please continue to pass the police any information you have on drug activities to help us target the effected areas and those persons directly involved.
