YOU SAID, WE DID | Following a number of complaints from local residents Whitchurch SNT requested support from our Traffic Motorcycle team to complete speed enforcement along Chester Road in Whitchurch.

Yesterday officers attended both locations spending an hour in each and results of the checks are as below:

Chester Road - Whitchurch - 20 vehicles issued with Traffic Offence Reports with highest recorded speed being 42mph.

Whitchurch Road - Prees - during the period of time spent there, no vehicles were over the 30mph limit. 

We will continue to monitor both locations along with other routes identified to us in and around the Whitchurch Town and Rural area and deal with any offences as appropriate as part of our safer roads plan built into the Local Community Charter concerns.
